While picking up food for my daycare at my local Hy-Vee in Davenport, I happened to look over to the next aisle and spotted a young couple checking out. They were using a colorful variety of reusable shopping bags for their groceries. I have an abundance of shopping bags myself that I usually forget at home. I have used them a couple of times, but I always wondered about the sanitation of reusing them over and over for food shopping.
